On Friday 3rd June at 7.30pm, comedy legend Jethro comes to town with his acclaimed 40 Years The Joker tour. Jethro promises a memorable evening of hysterical nonsense, as we take a peek into the circus lurking deep within the mind of, probably the greatest, comic storyteller ever to grace the stage.
Jethro beguiles and befuddles his audience with the endless stream of irreverent twaddle that has created a comedy genius.
Over 4 million DVD sales pay testament to the legion of fans who have followed Jethro faithfully throughout his career. Now, with stories old and new he’s back at the Memorial.

Back by popular demand, Hexagon Summer Lovin 70s/80s Disco returns to the Memorial Theatre on Saturday 4th June at 8pm.
Following the huge sell out success of the Hexagon Revival, the Memorial is delighted to announce another event due to the demand from those who attended last time and from those who were disappointed not to get tickets.
The Summer Lovin 70’s/80’s Disco is sure to get you strutting your stuff on the dance floor. Prize for best “Grease” style costume. Tickets cost £5.
Then on Saturday 18th June at 7.30pm, the theatre welcomes The Searchers to Frome. Now celebrating their 50th Anniversary and with classic hits as Sweets For My Sweet; Needles and Pins; Don’t Throw Your Love Away, Sugar and Spice and When You Walk In The Room, The Searchers have contributed enormously in establishing the UK as the world’s leading nation in the music industry. Combined with anecdotes and reminiscences, this fully self-contained concert includes all their famous hits, many of their original album recordings and a selection of other well-known favourites.

On July 1st July at 7.30pm, Halfway to Paradise – The Billy Fury Story comes to Frome. Billy Fury was Britain’s own Elvis. With looks like James Dean – he was Sex on legs and the girls went wild for him!
Billy’s own band, the all original Furys Tornados, re-play live his 29 timeless hits including Last Night Was Made For Love, Wondrous Place, I Will, Jealousy, Halfway To Paradise and many more. With Billy being there too on giant movie screen, the atmosphere is both electric & emotional. Tickets cost £20.50/ cons £19.50.
