The White Horse Community Choir has recently celebrated three years since its formation, by holding a birthday party.
The choir, which is aimed at adults of any age, performs a couple of concerts each year. Its ethos is that singing in a group is fun and their varied repertoire reflects this.
The choir cover songs suggested by the members and it is currently perfecting songs as diverse as ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Miserables and ‘Bare Necessities’ from Disney’s The Jungle Book.
New members are always welcome. There is no audition necessary as the main requirement is enthusiasm. If you would like to join, go along to West End Baptist Church at 7.45pm every Monday (excluding bank holidays) during term time, or for more information contact the choir leader : rev.ian.mcmanus@gmail.com
