A GIRLS’ football team from Westbury has been standing out on the pitch thanks to their new bright pink kit.
The Westbury Youth U9 team has been newly named the Pink Panthers, embracing their identity with pride. The team, which was reformed just over a year ago with only six players, has grown to include 15 girls aged between 5 and 8.
The team, who are sponsored by Wrapped Automotive through the support of Darren Green, are now seeking local girls’ teams for friendly matches and are encouraging anyone interested to get in touch.
“We’d love to hear from any local teams interested in organising friendlies. It’s a great opportunity for the girls to gain experience and have fun,” said Andy Jordan, Club Life President.
To arrange a friendly match, contact the club via email at secretary@westburyyouth.co.uk.
