WESTBURY Junior Rugby Club took to the Rec in Bath again, this time putting tries against Pewsey.
The junior team at Westbury Rugby Club played at the Rec, Bath Rugby’s ground, on Sunday 2nd December, against Pewsey.
Luke Hames said, “What an amazing day for Westbury Junior Rugby Club playing Pewsey on the Rec in front of 15,000 people tonight! Lots of tries and some very happy children, they did themselves and the club proud.
“A great 10-minute match, some great tries but some excellent defensive work and interceptions from Westbury. A special mention to Eesha, Charlotte and Max playing their first match at the Rec. Tries were scored by Sebastian Phibben who got two, Rhys Hames who also got two, Ryan Tate and Harry Lee.
“Thank you to all the parents and supporters for coming to watch. We hope to have another game arranged for the new year.”
