WESTBURY Junior School is taking part in sponsored events in order to raise money to pay for the cost of coach hire for future school trips, including a sponsored walk to Westbury White Horse.
Staff, children and parents from year 6 classes completed the sponsored walk on Friday 28th September, raising over £200.
The cost of coach hire for a recent residential trip was £800 and as a result, students are determined to keep raising enough money to for future school trips.
Hannah Duffy on behalf of the school said, “It was a challenge, but the children showed amazing resilience and reached the top in record time, ready to enjoy the wonderful views over the town.”
