Fiona Belson reports on recent results for the ladies’ section of the Westbury Golf Club.
“Tuesday 3rd June’s round of the Celia Dowell competition was won by Pauline Chisholm and Fiona Belson was the runner-up. The medal on Saturday 7th was won by Margaret Adams and the runner up was Maureen Heard.
“On Sunday 8th June Margaret Adams and Gill Sawyer won their knock- out match in the County Foursomes Competition, the round was played at Westbury Golf Club.
“On Thursday 12th Carol Barton won the Tee to Green competition and once again I was runner-up!
“Saturday 14th June was Captain’s Day and the Captain’s prize was won by Julie Sykes, second was Betty Tillitson and third was Anne Poolman Bright sunny day, an excellent meal and a good time was had by all.
