WESTBURY Ladies Rugby Club presented their new 19/20 season shirt to Bob and Carol Musker of the Horse and Groom, the club’s shirt sponsor.
Following the ladies’ promotion to South West North 1, the Horse and Groom in Westbury agreed to sponsor the team for brand new shirts this season.
On Wednesday 28th August the team, alongside captain Anna Hemingway and chairwoman Claire Bates, presented the new shirt to Bob and Carol Musker, landlords of the Horse and Groom for them to display in the bar area.
The ladies club also received sponsorship this season from Westbury Conservative Club to purchase warm-up tracksuits.
Westbury Ladies Rugby Club said, “We would like to say a huge thank you to our sponsors this season, the Horse and Groom and Westbury Conservative Club. With our new shirts and tracksuits, we will really stand out in our new league.
“If you want a sneak peak, why not buy a pint from the Horse and Groom and have a look at our shirt in the bar.
“Also, join us for our first home game of the season against Plymstock on Sunday 15th September at Knott Field, kick off 2pm.”
Westbury Ladies train every Wednesday night from 7pm-8.30pm at Knott Field at the White Horse Country Park. All abilities welcome.
