WESTBURY’S annual Remembrance Sunday parade and service will take place this Sunday 10th November from 10.15am.
The parade will assemble in the car park behind the High Street at 10.15am.
Members of the public are encouraged to assemble on the High Street at 10.20am ready for the parade to commence. This year, the parade will be staggered at 30-second intervals, so that every parading group will be visible and have a full parade.
The groups will march to the war memorial, opposite the rotunda in the High Street, near the library, where the service and laying of wreaths will take place.
This year, a new sound system will be used so the service should be more audible for the High Street congregation.
There will be a Royal British Legion collection during the laying of the wreaths.
The order of service for Remembrance Sunday will be available to download on the Westbury Town Council’s website if attendees would like to do so.
