THE Westbury Lions’ free Easter egg hunt proved to be popular with the local community as 230 young people took to the All Saints’ Church Hall and Victoria Gardens to find ceramic eggs.
The Lions were supported by the Westbury Leos club to help run the event.
“72 ceramic eggs were hidden in the gardens for the youngsters to find, along with some other hidden objects to spot,” said the Lions.
“Once found, Westbury Lions swapped the ceramic egg with a chocolate or free-from egg. 230 youngsters took part and received their free egg. There was also a raffle, colouring and refreshments available.
“We look forward to seeing families again at our Donkey Derby at the White Horse Country Park on Sunday 2nd June, look out for our posters for more information.”
