A fundraising race night is being hosted by Westbury Lions on Friday 25th October at Leigh Park Community Centre. The evening promises fast-paced fun with eight races to bet on with all the action broadcast on a giant screen.
Organisers say, “Enjoy an unforgettable evening of excitement and camaraderie and support the Westbury Lions Club Administration Fund in the process. Soak up the thrill and excitement as you watch the race winner cross the finish line on a big screen!
“With eight thrilling races lined up, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, enjoy some friendly competition, and experience the buzz of the racecourse from the comfort of the Leigh Park Community Centre. Whether you’re a seasoned punter or just fancy a little flutter at the tote, there’s plenty of fun to be had as you cheer your chosen horse to victory.”
Drinks will be available from the bar, and attendees are welcome to bring their own food and snacks.
Entry is £5 per person, which includes two free tote tickets. More tote tickets can be purchased for £1 each on the night.
“We are asking people to pre-book for this event so we can manage numbers, as we know it will be very popular,” say organisers.
