Local singer songwriter Wade Merritt will be performing live in Westbury town centre at the first Sunday Brunch event on Sunday 30th April.
Accompanied by great coffee, crepes, brunch food, and a petting farm, Wade will be singing outside of the library from 11am to 12pm and then again from 1pm to 2pm.
There will also be kids’ entertainment from 11am as Chloe’s Farm opens up behind the library, bringing donkeys, sheep and other farmyards friends to Westbury’s town centre.
For residents of a finer vintage, Flo on the Go, Frome’s popular Flow Bar, will be serving cocktails and drinks, while freshly roasted coffee and bakery treats will also be on offer. The event, run by Westbury Town Council, will be happening every last Sunday of the month up until October.
Nicki Demaine, the town council’s market and events coordinator, said, “The event will be split into two zones so those looking for a quiet coffee can enjoy relaxing on the hay bales, tables and chairs provided, whereas those with children can walk around Chloe’s farm, pet the animals and grab a hotdog.”
The Sunday Brunch event and farm have no entrance fee.
