A Westbury micro-brewery has celebrated winning two gold medals, a silver and finishing third overall in a regional beer competition.
The Twisted Brewing Company achieved the success at the Indie Beer Awards (South West) 2026, held in Newton Abbot, Devon last month.
Its Heritage 3.4% dark mild won gold in the Session Amber and Dark Ales category, while Urban Legend 4.3% pale ale also secured gold in the Session Pale Ale category.
A third award went to Finnegan’s No.1 4.4% coffee stout, which picked up a silver medal in its category.
Both gold-winning beers will now go forward to represent the South West at the National Indie Beer Awards in March 2027, where they will compete against breweries from across the UK.
“We’re absolutely delighted with this year’s results,” said Andrew Murray, head brewer and founder.
“To take home two golds and a silver, and to place third overall again, is a huge testament to the hard work and passion we have for beer. We’re especially excited to see Heritage and Urban Legend go forward to the national stage.”
