Community Easter egg hunts in Westbury have brought families together while raising funds for local causes.
Two separate events were organised by the Westbury Yarn Bombers and the Inner Wheel Club of Westbury, with eggs hidden in locations across the town.
The Westbury Yarn Bombers raised £50 for youth charity 4Youth. Marisa, founder of the group, said, “The Easter egg hunt has been a fantastic fundraiser for 4Youth, and it was made possible thanks to the brilliant local shops who hosted the display art installations and the hidden eggs – including Morrisons, Cards Plus, Beanstalk Brews, Davies of Westbury, and White Horse Pottery – as well as the families who took part and everyone who helped share the event to raise awareness.

“Thanks to the posters, community engagement, and the wonderful families who took part, many more people now know about the support 4Youth provides.”
Meanwhile, the Inner Wheel Club of Westbury hosted its third annual egg hunt, which attracted its highest turnout yet with 50 children taking part.
Julie, club correspondent, said, “The feedback was very positive, thank you to all who left comments. A very big thank you also goes to our local Lidl store, who donated the chocolate Easter bunnies, you really helped make the day.”
Proceeds from refreshment sales at the Inner Wheel event will go towards supporting local charities.
