Longleat has unveiled a special 30% discount on Day Tickets to visitors living within the local area.
Running daily between June 15th June to July 17th, the Day Ticket offers unlimited entry to the Safari Park, attractions and shows within the park and is exclusively available to local people living within a 20-minute drive time of Longleat.
Longleat CEO, Bob Montgomery said, “We are keen to build on the strong relationship Longleat has with local residents. This offer will be the first of many initiatives which show our intent and support for the local community.
“The promotion will allow people living within the local area to enjoy a more affordable day out and a chance to come and see the new attractions and features in the park.
“We’ve recently introduced several new addition to the park and for the rest of the main season we have the amazing animatronic dinosaur exhibition: Dinosaurs Alive, where visitors can walk among 20 moving prehistoric beasts.
“We also have a new acrobatic show called ‘Za Ji’ taking place throughout the summer featuring a team of extraordinary Chinese performers delivering some breath-taking routines.”
The new ticket offer is in addition to the local Annual Pass ticket for which a special discount is also available to people living within close proximity to Longleat.
There are also plenty of opportunities for local people to enjoy free access to the estate and explore its landscaped grounds.
The Pleasure Walk, which runs parallel to the Lodge Drive down to Longleat House, has re-opened again for both walkers and dog walkers during the daytime while the park is open. Access to the Pleasure Walk is from Horningsham close to the Bath Arms Hotel.
Whilst the walk does not include entry to the main estate it does allow people to experience the stunning Capability Brown-landscaped arboretum, which has been part of the estate for more than 250 years.
Local people can also enjoy some of the finest views in the area from Heaven’s Gate, as well as Shearwater and vast areas of woodland within the 9,000 acre estate. Plus the national Sustrans cycle route which runs through the estate remains open for cyclists to enjoy.
The 30% discount is valid on all types of the All In One Day Ticket and Deadly Day Ticket and will run from Monday 15th June – Friday 17th July 2015.
