10 CHILDREN from Collision Fight Academy with ages between four and 11, successfully passed their coloured belt grading exam in the art of thai / kickboxing on Sunday 9th November, as set by the World Ring Sports Association and Collision Fight Academy.
Two of the children have gone for the white belt which is the first one of nine, and the other eight have passed their second belt (red).
Instructor Danny Sergiu said, “I am pleased and very proud as always. We only have a small gym but we always manage to keep up with the bigger gyms in Wiltshire.
“All the children were very focused and followed instructions with no questions asked.
“If I managed to win eight titles including British and European champion only in six years of fighting, I am confident that some of these kids will become World champions if they stick to this sport.
“Next on the agenda is to start taking some of them to martial arts competitions and we’ll get to the top in no time! We have already turned heads around the south-west with some of the fighters from the adult classes, and we’re not stopping here.
“In the meantime we welcome new recruits, both kids and adults in any of our classes held in Westbury and Calne.”
