A WOMAN from Bruton is trying to find a man who ‘made her day’ on a recent train journey.
Maia Rees was on the train from Bristol when a passenger, who got off the train in Westbury, called her beautiful.
Maia explains, “On Saturday 19th October I was on board the 16:49 train from Bristol Temple Meads heading back home to Bruton.
“A rather good looking gentleman got on at Bath Spa, and I assumed he had been to the rugby. Throughout the next part of the journey he kept glancing my way and I his. Westbury was his stop and as he stood up to leave the carriage he turned back to me and said, “by the way, you are beautiful.”
“His words meant more to me on that day than anyone can imagine and I would love to find him just to tell him how he changed not just that day, but my year.”
