West Wilts Society of Model Engineers are continuing their summer season of open days.
The next event will be on Sunday 7th July, from 1pm at White Horse Country Park with free entry.
All the monies raised this year are being shared with the Hope for Tomorrow charity, which funds the bus that visits Westbury each Thursday, to help reduce the distance that patients have to travel for their chemotherapy treatments.
About their event last month, the club said, “Our latest family day on Saturday 2nd June was our busiest so far. Even the afternoon showers did not put off people willing to visit and watch our garden railway, or ride behind our 5-inch gauge steam trains.
“A highlight for many was the attendance of a member’s steam roller, which they have been restoring and which is now in running condition.
