Enthusiasts at the West Wilts Society of Model Engineers have again organised an entertaining and informative family day out at The White Horse Model Engineering & Garden Railway Show.
This regular September event will be held at the White Horse Country Park, Coach Road, Westbury, (BA13 4LX) on Sunday 13th September, 10.00am – 4.30pm.
The show has already attracted 15 plus retail trade stands, model engineering club exhibits from around the region, a static display of 30 plus model boats, traction engines, 40 plus hot air engines, small steam engines and railway layouts of different sizes including garden railways, all under cover.
Outside, there’s a chance to ride on trains and model traction engines, or even have a go yourself and learn to drive a model ride-on steam engine.
The show will cover a wide range of model engineering activities and railways, vintage and modern, with Mamod type engines for the younger/beginner enthusiast.
Entry is £4 per person, children ‘under 16’ free. For more information contact event organisers: Visit www.wwsme.org.uk
