Westbury Run Club will be starting a brand new beginners’ course on Monday 12th May to encourage people to progress slowly up to running for 30 minutes.
The course will run on Mondays every week for 10 weeks. They particularly welcome absolute beginners and people new to running, as well as those who want to get into having regular exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle.
Westbury Run Club is part of the Run England Project organised by England Athletics and meets at the Leigh Park Community Centre at 6.30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays.
The group continues to go from strength to strength and now regularly has over 100 members with an average of 50-60 runners per week. They have groups for all abilities for both competitive and social runners.
