TALE of Spice II has been offering the finest in Indian cuisine for 10 years, with a restaurant and take-away in Warminster Road. Now, in response to heavy demand, they are introducing a free home delivery service.
It is part of a ‘massive thank you’ that manager Sahil (Sam) Ullah would like to say to all his loyal customers.
The family-run business offers an extensive menu which has evolved over the years. There are the ‘classic dishes cooked to perfection’, but, in response from customers’ suggestions, there are also more unusual dishes such as duck and ostrich on the menu. Then there are the chef’s unique dishes, while dishes that were introduced as one-off specials are now firmly established on the menu.
Manager Sahil Ullah (Sam) takes pride in knowing his customers and offering a warm and friendly welcome every time. He says that, in a competitive climate, the secret to success is simply to offer the best food with the best service.
“We have an emphasis on fresh food, even if it takes more time, effort, and expense,” says Sahil. “Our food is all freshly prepared and freshly cooked. At the end of the night we won’t have anything left over, apart from the dishes which need to marinate. We are well stocked with spices and herbs and can offer a twist on a regular dish.
“We know the people that come here, we know who is who in the family and what they do. Everything always feels like home.
“I would like to say a massive thank you to all our customers who have given us the opportunity for this success.”

Opening times are Monday to Thursday, 12noon-2.30pm and 6.00pm-11.00pm; Friday and Saturday 12.00noon-2.30pm and 5.30pm-11.30pm; and Sunday 12noon-10.00pm.
