Westbury-based Prosec Consultancy who have been training since 2010, have been developing the training further over the past year, saying that it is an exciting time for the company.
Predominately a security, surveillance and training company who specialise in the training of the SIA Door and CCTV courses as well as the RQF First Aid at Work courses, they have now added some specialist training courses that brings the company to a whole new level.
With the appointment of Eddie Sidaway as the training manager, whose role will be to control, deliver and oversee this new venture and start running the Close Protection, Level 3 Surveillance, Security Dog Training and the FREC3 (First Response Emergency Care Level 3) courses, this will be alongside the many courses already taught at the Westbury company.
Prosec will also be appointing a training administrator who is also a fully qualified trainer and a first aider who also works with the ambulance service; Ciaran will be assisting Eddie with the everyday training duties and administration.
The company says, “Prosec Consultancy has built up a good working relationship with the MOD, especially the RACPD in Larkhill, the continuous training of soldiers either in resettlement or still serving, gives the company a lot of pride. The new specialist courses on offer will continue to build and take the relationship to the next level.
“Prosec Consultancy have taken their time in developing training courses either in-house at the training facilities or we can extend our trainers to venues across the United Kingdom. This includes the many military camps that we are present on a regular basis. As long as a venue meets the criteria, our trainers will travel to you.”
Newly-appointed training manager, Eddie Sidaway said, “I am really looking forward to getting involved and seeing what differences we can make as a company.
“I have been in the security industry for a long time. I started door supervision and door security at 18 years old. It soon then became my full-time job. I have also covered key holder and armed response, mobile security, retail, uniformed guard, lost prevention and security management.
“I then moved to training for businesses and then realised training was what I enjoyed more than anything else, I have a passion for it, wanting to share my knowledge. I’ve done a lot on the front line but wanted something different, side stepped into training and have been doing so for around 10 years now.
“I specialise in conflict management and physical intervention. We take training very seriously and strive to be the region’s best provider. Our courses will grow, so keep an eye on our website and social media.
As well as this, Prosec Consultancy is an established security company, specialising in static guarding and event security. The company has been looking after local councils for many years, as well as providing many staffing numbers to some of the biggest festivals in the United Kingdom.
