WESTBURY United Football Club is on the lookout for a new home ground, bringing an end to over 70 years at Meadow Lane.
The club is in search of landowners who could host the town’s team and growing youth sides.
Club chairman Matt Bright said, “Whilst our current facilities are very dear to our hearts and hold many fond memories for those central to the club’s history, we feel that the time has come to look for pastures new.
“Meadow Lane has been our home since the 1930s and is somewhat limited in terms of space and infrastructure. This has been put under more pressure most recently by the resurgence of the Westbury Youth teams, whose membership counts at over 400.
“As such, we would be keen to speak to anyone who feels that they have a piece of land in the Westbury town area, which might be suitable for us to develop new facilities, including a new first team pitch and surrounding stands, alongside extensive facilities to house the ever-expanding Youth set up.”
