THE Dilton Marsh lunch club is always on the lookout for more people to join their friendly club.
One of the group’s members, Vera Bainton, recently celebrated her 90th birthday with group regulars and friends in attendance on the 11th March at the club’s meeting place, the Opportunity Farm Café at Fairfield Farm College.
Speaking about the club, Vera’s friend and regular member, Carole King said, “We turn up to have an early coffee or tea, order what we want for lunch, which is served around 12pm then sit and chat ‘till about 1pm. We’re listed in the monthly Dilton Marsh parish magazine, so if you’re interested, please contact us. A laugh is definitely guaranteed!”
The Dilton Marsh lunch club has been running at the Opportunity Farm Café since about 2017, having moved from the Dilton Marsh Memorial Hall.
