THE Rotary Club of Westbury has a new president, Elizabeth Webbe, who will be taking over the role from Jon Street.
Jon handed over the chain of office to Elizabeth at the latest meeting of the club at the Full Moon in Lower Rudge. The handover was witnessed by most of the club members and also the Rotary district governor, Stuart Gilbert.
The club says, “At the meeting Jon reflected on the past year with pride and thanked all the members of the club that has assisted throughout the year and wished Elizabeth all success in her year as president.
“We had a very busy year with many events such as Kids Out, our Christmas carol concert, the Imber Ultra marathon and the Westbury Christmas light illumination ceremony where we distributed mulled wine and mince pies to the assembled throng.”
