WESTBURY’S Oktoberfest held a raffle, with the winners receiving two tickets from Keeva Travel director, Rory McManus, for a weekend for two to Munich, the home of Oktoberfest. The winners were Tim and Tanith Martin.
Tim Martin said that it was a fantastic prize to have won and he and Tanith would use the tickets to fly to Munich for Valentine’s Day next year.
Rory McManus, director of local travel agency, Keeva travel, said that Westbury’s Oktoberfest was an ideal opportunity to showcase his company and he was delighted to hand the tickets to Tim and Tanith. He said he was also pleased that £650 would be donated to local good causes from this year’s Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest spokesperson, Bruce Hewitson, thanked Keeva Travel for their support at this year’s event and looked forward to teaming up with them for Oktoberfest 19. He also thanked landlord of The Horse and Groom, Bob Musker, for his continued support for the event, now in its third year, and all those other people involved in making the day a great success.
Details of the good causes and next year’s event will be published early in the New Year.
