Preparations are well under way for this year’s Dilton Marsh Flower and Handicraft Show which will take place on Saturday 27th July in the village’s Memorial Hall.
The show will feature classes covering vegetables, fruit, flowers, floral art, cookery, handicrafts, photography, group display and an under 18’s section. The show is open to residents of Dilton Marsh or members of Dilton Marsh organisations.
Organisers said, “We are looking forward to another successful show and have tweaked some of the classes as we do every year, but we will be sticking with a few traditional ones like the Victoria sponge, roses and herbs. There are a couple of additional classes this year too.
“We are hopeful for good weather between now and show day for entrants to successfully grow their fruit, vegetables and flowers. Thankful as ever to our very kind sponsors; you can find their details within the schedules and on our Facebook page.
“Please ensure all entrants complete an entry form and hand it in by the cut-off date. Good luck and we look forward to seeing all of your exhibits on show day!”
