The Garden and access areas at Grassacres Hall have been transformed into a new secluded space.
Local groups Westbury Shed, Grassacres Hall Welfare of the Elderly and a team at Green Farm Tree Care worked together for six hours to transform the area.
Linda from Westbury Shed said, “It has been changed from its original overgrown and unusable area into an amazing space which can be used to relax, reflect or exercise in a quiet, secluded little haven a stone’s throw from the town centre and within Grassacres Park where the new MUGA is currently under construction.”
Westbury resident Adam, who works for Green Farm Tree Care, was “keen to take on the challenge with his colleagues Luca and Dorian,” said Linda. “They were sustained with bacon sandwiches, coffee and biscuits provided by the other organisations involved!”
Grassacres Hall is available for hire by groups for activities, those looking to arrange a family event or for holding meetings.
It has a recently renovated kitchen which can be used by those hiring the hall. The venue is wheelchair-user friendly and has easy access to the town centre and the park.
