A POST Office is to return to the town centre on Friday 15th March at 1pm with the announcement that McColl’s Retail Group in the High Street are to take over the facilities.
A spokesperson for the Post Office said, “I am pleased to confirm that Post Office Ltd is re-opening a Post Office in Westbury in mid March at McColls Retail Group, 30 High Street, Westbury, BA13 3BW.
“The previous branch at Kingfisher Drive, BA13 3XW, closed temporarily in October 2017 due to the store where the branch was located, closing.
“The new Post Office opening hours will be Monday to Sunday: 6am – 10pm, making it very convenient for customers to visit. More details will be announced in the near future.”
Chief operating officer for McColl’s Retail Group, Dave Thomas said, “We are delighted to soon be welcoming customers to Westbury Post Office, which will offer a wide range of Post Office services alongside our extensive retail offer. As a convenience store operator we are always looking for ways to make life easier for our customers and the additional Post Office services will be available for the full opening hours of the store in order to provide an excellent service for the local community.”
