Westbury Junior School had a day of magical maths investigation recently.
Following the successful application for a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) grant, Westbury Junior School welcomed Dave Hickory from Marvellous Magical Maths for an exciting day of maths activities last month.
Assistant headteacher Victoria Withers, “Starting with an assembly, Dave engaged the children before delivering workshops for each year group where they explored different maths problems involving shape, patterns and measuring.”
Class teacher Anne-Marie Sweet said, “This visit was a lot of fun. The children loved the different activities and the whole school was able to get involved.”
