PUPILS from Westbury Leigh Primary School helped establish five bat boxes at the school with assistance from the Wiltshire Bat Group.
A spokesperson for the school said, “What an amazing afternoon at farm club. We had a visit from Mr Ponting from the Wiltshire Bat Group who helped put up five bat boxes and shared his knowledge with us about these fabulous flying mammals!
“He also taught and gave us equipment to monitor any bat visitors that choose our school as a home; we hope they do. Thank you, Mr Ponting!”
