Bratton Cricket Club will be holding a pre season quiz night in The Duke on Thursday 26th March, 7.30pm.
The aim of the evening is to launch the forthcoming season and to raise funds for the club.
Organisers say, “Everyone is welcome – cricketers, non cricketers, supporters, quiz lovers – you just need to raise a team of 4 and contact Noel Kew (noelkew@outlook. com tel: 07868 297411). Tickets are £25 a team, starting at 7.30pm, to include a light meal.
“There will also be a raffle and of courses prizes for the winning team (s).
“With the cricket season fast approaching; there are pre season nets being planned on Thursday evenings and an exciting fixture list which will shortly be published, including a President’s fixture on Sunday 3rd May.
“This is planned to be a fun Bratton family day on the Recreation ground with two teams playing to start the season off, arranged by Alex Forbes. Anyone wishing to assist with the day or available to play, please contact either Alex or Noel.”
