DOROTHY House Hospice Care will be holding its annual Light up a Life remembrance services next month, with events being held in Trowbridge, Warminster and Frome.
The end-of-life care charity will hold a series of the services in December. They will be held at The United Church in Warminster on Thursday 3rd December; at St James’ Church in Trowbridge on Wednesday 9th December; and at Rook Lane Chapel in Frome on Thursday 10th December.
The services will all start at 6pm and will last for around 45 minutes. They will include carols, readings and the opportunity to light a candle for a loved one.
The services are part of the Light up a Life fundraising appeal, in which people can sponsor lights on the hospice’s huge Christmas tree hospice in Winsley, in memory of friends or family members. Last year’s appeal raised £50,000 for the charity.
