Reverend Sue Miles completed the Bath Half Marathon in aid of the Crosspoint Youth Counselling Pilot Project, along with her husband Bob Miles.
The Revd Sue completed the marathon with a time of just under two and a half hours. Money is still coming in but so far she has raised at least £1,650 for Crosspoint Westbury’s youth counselling service.
Revd Sue said, ‘I would like to thank the communities of Westbury and beyond who have given so generously with their encouragement both financially and emotionally. It is a huge reflection on the way we can come together and make something helpful happen.
“The need for support in the area of mental health for our young people is vital. It is fantastic that Crosspoint is involved in providing some of the support for this project.”
