Westbury Rotary Club recently held a collection in Westbury High Street and raised £165 for Water Survival Box.
WSB is a Rotary-run charity, based at Midsomer Norton, which sends large plastic boxes filled with water purifying kit, basic tools, some cooking and eating implements and even a few toys, to disaster zones to aid the people who have lost everything.
All administration is carried out by volunteers, so 95% of all donations are used to purchase and deliver the equipment.
