Matravers School has received support from the Westbury Rotary Club to help in two areas of the School.
Sue Ezra (Past President Westbury Rotary Club) presented a cheque for £150 to Mrs Sorga, Head of Music to buy a workshop with an a Cappella Madrigal Specialist, who will be working with the choir to learn a madrigal. It will be a new and exciting experience to work with a new conductor and will broaden their repertoire.
Sue also presented a cheque for £100 to Mr McMahon, Head of English to support the Oddsocks Shakespeare production in July at the School.
Matravers commented, “We are delighted with the continued support of the Rotary Club. This is a very important partnership for us and we already have plans for our collaborative work for next academic year.”
