WESTBURY Rotary Club raised over £1,400 for the president’s chosen charities at its International Cuisine Evening last month.
The annual dinner was held on Saturday 14th November at the Laverton, and proceeds were donated to regional charities Julia’s House and Hope for Tomorrow.
Town councillor and club member Sue Ezra said, “The food was from the four corners of the world; Brazil, Burma, Italy and Russia. Everyone seem to enjoyed the chance to taste food that maybe they had not tasted before.
“The club would like to thank the chiefs for providing the food and the sponsors Chalfont House Hotel, Pinniger Finch and Co, Thatcher and Hallam, HW Financial Services, C Letting Agency and Cinnamon Lounge.
“The wine was subsidized by The Great Western Wine of Bath. Once again we would like to thank all those who supported and gave most generously to the two good causes.”
