SUNDAY 12th February will see the seventh running of the increasingly popular Wiltshire 10 race in Melksham.
The run starts in Lowbourne Road and takes a certified, accurate 10-mile course out around the historic village of Lacock before returning back to finish alongside the River Avon in King George V Playing Fields.
Organiser Darren Wrintmore said, “The Wiltshire 10 is proving to be one of the most popular runs in the South West of England.
“Not only is the course picturesque but it has provided the opportunity for runners to record some fast times with last year’s winning lady achieving the fifth fastest time for the distance recorded in Britain!”
Around five hundred runners are expected to take part and all finishers of the run will receive a specially minted medal and a goody bag. Prizes will also be on offer for the first three ,en and women to complete the course as well as to the winners of the V40, V50 and V60 age categories.
