The Westbury Lions Santa Float has started its fundraising journey around the local area.
This cherished tradition, which has delighted families for over 40 years, will tour Westbury and surrounding areas throughout the festive period, spreading joy, music, and a touch of Christmas magic.
The float will be travelling around town until Saturday 20th December.
“We are so delighted to be able to bring the joy of Santa to Westbury,” said Angie, president of Westbury Lions club. “We love meeting all the children and to see their excitement when they meet Santa Claus.”
“My special thanks go to our wonderful volunteers who go out in all weather and the people of Westbury for their generous donations.
“Children are once again invited to write letters to Santa, which can be posted on the sleigh. Santa asks you to remember to include your address so he can write back to you.”
The Santa float helps the Westbury Lions continue their vital support for local causes.
“Donations collected during the route directly fund the work we do throughout the year, ensuring that the goodwill of the season lasts long after Santa’s busy spell,” added Angie.
