Westbury extended their unbeaten run to 19 matches as the top 3 all won again.
United almost had the points sewn up in the opening 7 minutes thanks to Dan Kovacs’ early double; the first from close range after just 2 minutes when the Hulbert brothers combined to set him up, then a penalty after Ricky Hulbert had been fouled just inside the box.
The rest of the match was something of a non event, with Westbury fully in control. Josh Ferguson hit a fierce 25 yarder which was excellently saved by Town keeper Josh Lucas.
Towards half time Kovacs, Ricky Hulbert and Ferguson were all off target with shots. Then Ricky Hulbert was fouled again but this time no spot kick was given.
Play continued in the same vein after the break with Kovacs and Ricky Hulbert unable to add a 3rd goal despite good chances.
Sherborne briefly threatened before the hour with Marc Caines and Pete Ireland shooting from long range, Lewis Porter saved from Caines while Ireland’s effort went wide. That was as close as they got to breaching the watertight home defence.
Jamie Jordan made it 3-0 with a brilliant free kick on 61. From a wide angle on the right and 25 yards from goal, Jordan spotted a gap to the keeper’s left and found it with precision.
Little else of note occurred, except another spectacular attempt by Ferguson which flew just past the post!
