LOCALLY-based Imperial Charity played host once again to a fine variety show at the Laverton Hall in Westbury on Saturday 1st March to a packed house.
The show featured Paul Hopkins in the Roy Orbison Experience with full supporting acts. Roy, who is one of the finest impersonators of Roy Orbison in the UK according to the Stage newspaper.
This was certainly justified with the audience being treated to many of Roy’s number one hits, and a brief part of his life story which absolutely thrilled the audience.
Also on the show was a fine comedy magician with full audience participation. The variety shows are always free to senior citizens and people with ‘Special Needs’.
“It was great once again to see a completely full house,” said David McCance the president of the charity.
