THERE is still time to take on the challenge of this year’s Westbury Lions 10k race, taking in the views of the White Horse and countryside lanes.
This year the run will commence at 11am on Sunday 7th October from White Horse Country Park.
The route is a fairly level one, popular with beginners and club runners alike, and comprises mixed terrain, proceeding around the boundary of the Country Park before heading to Bratton and then back along Capps Lane to the country park. Marshals will be in attendance along the route to guide and assist you.
They are hoping for an even bigger turn out than last year, where 158 competitors took part.
For more information and to register in advance for just £10, visit the event website https://westbury lions10k.org. If you do not wish to register in advance then you can turn up on the day and pay a little extra (£12) at race HQ – registration opens from 9.00am.
