A spooktacular Halloween-themed lunch organised by Abraham’s Kitchen proved to be a big hit with local children during half term.
Families enjoyed pumpkin picking, carving and a chillingly fun best costume competition at the event held at Grassacres Hall.
Abraham’s Kitchen provides community lunches for families during school holidays.
Mayor Jane Russ, who also attended the event, said, “It was the most wonderfully jolly event enjoyed by both children and adults alike. It was also really great to have encouraging feedback for the town council, and not forgetting the Westbury Area Network volunteers who make it all happen.”
Ryan Child, events manager for Westbury Town Council, said, “The Halloween event at Abraham’s Kitchen is always so popular, with loads of costumes and a themed lunch. The events also run during every school holiday, with volunteers from Westbury Area Network running the event on behalf of the town council.
“We are looking forward to the upgrades around Grassacres Park that will make this event even better!”
