LAST week Westbury Ladies FC faced High Worth Ladies in their second home game of the season.
The game was tough with both teams cancelling each other out in the first half. The physicality levels were high and Westbury made some good attacking attempts.
Second half saw Westbury up the tempo playing their usual outstanding attacking football. However, Highworth played with a very organised defence leading to a 0-0 end result. Towards the later end of the second half Westbury were awarded a penalty but unfortunately did not convert. With a last-minute attack from Highworth, Westbury kept composure with a clearance off the goal line.
As always, the ladies worked tirelessly and gave their all until the end. Week on week the new team are growing together and putting in a fantastic performance that is more than worth the watch. Please do to come and support!
