With the season in full swing, the Dan Knights Cup was won by Andrew Pittany with a net 63, with Matt Gardiner in the runner-up spot with a net 65.
The club reports, “The Men’s May Medal saw Alex Foskett in first place with a net 65, with Steve Adams in second place with 69.
“In the Seniors Section in the May Medal, Brian Ingram came out on top with a net 70, beating Rodney Poolman on countback. Our away match with Broome Manor resulted in a 5 – 1 win for the home team. Our winners were Dave Gilbert and Cliff Connor.
“If you are interested in taking up golf then there is an open day on Saturday 22nd June. So get your clubs cleaned and polished ready for your participation.”
