WESTBURY RFC finished the season in third place, just shy of second place, and came away as the only team to defeat eventual league winners, Frome 2nds.
The third place finish, 26 points ahead of fourth place, was just four points behind second place, Marlborough. Westbury won 18 games with just four losses and were the only team to defeat eventual league winners Frome 2nds. They had only one loss at their home ground, Knott Field.
Coach, Gareth Vaughan said, “Jamie ‘Dicko’ Dixon secured top try scorer this season by scoring a hat-trick in their final win of the season over Colerne beating them 46-17. Top points scorer this season was captain Aaron Vaughan. Four players were also ever present and started every game of the season, the entire front row Chris Pearce, Jack Bates and Michael Tuck and captain Aaron Vaughan.
