A POP-UP Sunday Brunch with great coffee, freshly baked treats, crepes, and a bar will be coming to Westbury High Street on Sunday 30th April, from 10am to 2pm, alongside a mobile farm outside of the library, where donkeys, Shetland ponies and other farm animals will be entertaining families.
The event, organised by Westbury Town Council, will run every last Sunday for six months, offering people of all ages the chance to enjoy quintessential Sunday favourites like freshly ground coffee, warm croissants and even a Bloody Mary. The town council also has plans for a Dog Show and a wellbeing day to take place later in the year.
Away from the quiet brunch setting, over on the grass outside of the library, animals such as Helen the hen, Norman the donkey, and Daffodil the bunny will be bringing their farmyards friends for some petting, feeding and fun.
Chloe’s Mobile Farm is a Wiltshire business based near Calne, while the traders are also from the area, ensuring the event supports and promotes businesses close to home.

Nicki Demaine, the town council’s market coordinator, said, “We are really excited about offering a lovely free event for the community on the last Sunday of every month. The farm will give families a chance to spend their Sunday in the middle of Westbury, while the brunch food is going to be incredible and delicious!”
Upcoming Dog Show and wellbeing day
The Sunday Brunch will also host two special events later in the year, with the first Westbury Dog Show taking place at the June event, where members of the public are welcomed to bring their dogs to a Crufts type show. Sunday 25th June will also be a ‘wellbeing day’ with stalls showcasing local clubs and the support in place to assist people with getting back into physical or mental good health, supported by Wiltshire Council.
The final Sunday Brunch will take place on October 8th, running two weeks after the Wiltshire Chilli Fest. At this event the town council are asking anyone in Westbury that would like to have a stall to simply email markets@westburytowncouncil.gov.uk. All stalls that day will be free.
