The Ray Jones Band will be returning to The Duke in Bratton to play on Saturday 24th May at 9.00pm.
The Ray Jones Band is a three-piece band from the South West of England comprising of Ray Jones (guitar and vocals), Mark Griffin (drums) and Paul Farrant (bass and vocals).
The band play a mixture from rock to modern day classics and a few of their own songs thrown in the mix too.
The band came about during 2007 by Ray being asked to put together a band for a few gigs by venues. Trying a few different rehearsals/musicians to suit, The Ray Jones Band soon came to life with Mark Griffin on drums and Graham Hill on bass and vocals to blend with Ray’s guitar and rock background.
After recording their debut album “The Right Way” the band set out gigging all across the South West of the UK from small pubs and clubs, that soon turned into biker events and beer festivals.
2012 saw Graham sadly leave the band due to personal circumstances, but searching hard, Ray and Mark were lucky to find Paul Farrant to join the family and keep the bass and shared vocal duties in check.
