Welcome Volunteer: Crosspoint is a charity set up to help the community with any need they might have, such as obtaining food boxes, utilising their phone and internet facilities or simply popping in for a chat and a cup of tea! They are looking for volunteers for all areas.
Home Library Service Volunteer: Westbury Library are looking for volunteers who can visit the library to select stock for an individual or group of people who are housebound and then deliver the items to the customer in their own or residential home.
Forces Project Advocate Volunteer: Swan Advocacy Network are running a “FORCES project” for ex-service personnel and their families. A volunteer spends time with a person to get to know him/her and build trust on which to base a supportive partnership, particularly where there is no network of friends or relatives.
Volunteer Gateway Assessor: Wiltshire Citizen Advice are looking for volunteers who can provide information and advice to clients on a wide range of topics including: debt; benefits; employment; housing; family; and consumer affairs in one of their offices in Chippenham, Trowbridge, Devizes or Salisbury.
