WESTBURY United completed a winning pre-season run of form with a 1-0 victory against Trowbridge Town on Wednesday 28th July.
Former Westbury great Jamie Jordan is now managing Trowbridge and his new look side pushed United all the way after Jack Biddescombe had scored the only goal of the game in the first half. It took several superb saves by Mark Bowden late to ensure victory.
Prior to this there was a superb day at Meadow Lane when the current First Team took on a Legends side on Saturday 24th July. The First Team won 3-2 with goals scored by Ricky Hulbert (2) and Callum Demkiv. The Legends, managed by former bosses Derek Graham and Paul Brickley, found the net through Wayne Wheeler and Adam Bishop.
