COMPETITION winner Angie Hulin was whooping with delight when she heard she had won two weekend tickets for the Village Pump Folk Festival.
Gerry Cooper, one of the festival organisers, presented her with her prize, worth £220, at Friday Folk at The Village Pump session. Angie said, “I’ve never won anything like this before, but I’ve been going to the Pump Festival for years and I really love it, especially since it’s gone back to its roots as a folk festival. The new site at Westbury is great and my 11-year-old son loves it there too. I’ll be able to see lots of the well-known acts like Joe Brown, Seth Lakeman and the Three Daft Monkeys but the great thing is you can see some of the lesser-known acts too and discover new favourites.”
